Unlocking Insights: Key Takeaways from my Engaging Week 3 Lectures

In Week 3 of our courses, the class was again lectured about creative thinking and critical reflection. With lectures and in-class group sessions that were both interesting and fun-filled, it was an absolute delight to explore these topics.

The aim was to push the boundaries of our minds and encourage innovative approaches to problem-solving. Through engaging discussions and thought-provoking exercises, we honed our ability to think outside the box and critically analyze different perspectives. This week truly exemplified a perfect blend of intellectual stimulation and enjoyable learning experiences.

Product & Prototyping

Enjoyed Brian's lecture as it was an introduction to our new assignment. Creating a Podcast. But before that, we had to submit our business cards as he requested last week. Everyone was very creative with this task.

I am happy he found my card interesting and creative as it was just a dummy sample put together from my sketch. And happy days ahead as we have been placed in groups for the podcast assignment. The immersive nature of the sessions allowed us to actively participate and apply our newfound knowledge in real-time. We were asked to put ourselves in groups for podcast the upcoming Podcast assignment. I was happy about my group as we seemed to have creative similarities and a vast treasure trove of ideas.

Creative Thinking

Sophie brought in 2 of the university staff to assist us with our writing and assignments. Alex lectured us on how to use the library and search for resources on the library's online platform. The session was very interactive and informative. Then Nick brought the fun into advising us on how to go about ‘Critical Reflection.’ With examples that really enlightened me on how to go about my assignment.

The assignments are really heaping up. But with the knowledge passed in class. I am looking forward to executing each one with my style and creative way and the guides given to me.
