Action Research for Creative Thinkers

This lecture day was very fun and interesting as Brian introduced us to the style of Action Research. A Creative exploration. In his usual fun way of lecturing. We were taught how to be creative in our research, using some proven industry techniques.

We were placed in 3 groups using given numbers. My group......... ‘The Cool Group 2’. (Figure 3)

The brief from Brian (Our Imaginary client):

“I like to grow vegetables at home, but I live in an apartment and don’t have a garden”.

The exercise consisted of us asking the pretend client questions and using them to come up with answers, drawn and written down on big sheets.

Every team member contributed their ideas. This was very educative, and our brainstorming was out-of-the-box suggestions as encouraged by Brian. The ideas presented by the group were very creative.
