25th September was the start of my MA DIBM (Design, Innovation & Brand Management) course. I was pleasantly happy to walk into the room and be greeted by one of my course lecturers. Brian Johnson (Senior Lecturer Advertising and Brand Development Business School for the Creative Industries). I must say, a very open and charismatic gentleman.

We had our first exercise in selecting any book of our choice from the library and presenting it to the class. This brief exercise was rather exciting and fun and gave me, especially an idea of what is to come in this course. FUN TIMES AHEAD.

Below is the book I selected:

‘Design Your Thinking’ by Dr Pavan Soni (Soni, 2020) The book looks like a very good and inspiring read. Lots of great online reviews and with the little I have browsed; I can see Dr. Soni uses a lot of practical business and company brand examples Referencing their successes and failures. and simplicity of breaking down how we can improve our creative thinking using time-tested toolsets.

So inspired ………………. Well! More to read.
